I no dey take horror movies with spirituality, supernatural and occult dey play. One is just left to assume and deduce his story themselves.īruh, you know the drill. That was the weakest link in the whole movie. We don't know what The Grabber wants or led to that. Then probably one event led to him actively seeking and killing kids in adulthood.
If they even gave him a logical backstory like him being abused as a kid by probably a close relative. I wanted to give the film an 8/10 rating or higher but cos of that plotline error I just decided to lower the score. Like I said in another group, horror movies spiced with demonic elements are at the top of the game. His house would have been really haunted, the young boy would have seen hell and the whole shit would have been lit X5. They could have made him to be a wizard who required the sacrifice of little children to appease the devil or something.
That film could have used a little satanism. This is the major reason I didn't give the film an A. Wonder what's his endgame or what led to him targeting his victims. I don't think they explained the main motive of the killer villain. Great storytelling, good acting from the cast.
